Islamabad Capital Territory Police
also known as Islamabad Police/ICT Police came into existence on January 1,
1981. ICT Police’s goal is to meet the need for a separate police organization
for the federal capital Islamabad to ensure rule of law, protect lives and
property and curb civil disorder.
The purpose of the ICT Police
organization is to preserve peace and public safety through the enforcement of
local state, and federal laws and by providing aid/assistance in emergency or
crisis situations.
Islamabad Capital Territory Police
invites Online Applications across Pakistani according to the
provincial/regional quota as laid down by the Federal Government to ensure
transparency and merit.
As per described Regional/Provincial
Quotas, Candidates belonging to Islamabad Capital Territory, Punjab, Sindh
Rural, Sindh Urban, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK), Balochistan, FATA, Gilgit
Baltistan, and AJK are eligible.
